People we support will receive much-needed toiletry and sanitaryware products, thanks to the continued support of Telecoms company @4comtechnologiesltd
Hundreds of new, feminine hygiene items, bottles of shower gel and shampoo, deodorants, tubes of toothpaste and toothbrushes, were donated by staff at the company during March.
Karen Fredericks, Customer Retentions Manager at 4Com explained: “We wanted to support a local charity around International’s Women’s Day on 8 March and decided that period poverty was something we were particularly keen to highlight.
“Period poverty is a serious issue for many women, including those experiencing homelessness, and we know from talking to Hope that many of the women who come to them do not have easy access to these vital products.
“The end result is 12, huge boxes absolutely full to the brim with products, which we were absolutely thrilled to be able to give to this extremely hardworking charity.”
This isn’t the first time @4comtechnologiesltd has supported us; 4Com staff abseiled down the face of the company’s 100ft building at One Lansdowne Plaza in 2019, raising £30,000 for the charity.
Steve and Ethan, who have been supported out of homelessness by Hope HTS, along with Hope’s Director of Services Lisa Everett, visited 4Com to receive the latest donation.
The charity’s Director of Services, Lisa Everett said: “We are full of gratitude to 4Com for the huge effort their team continues to make on our behalf.
