What is Hope Soap?

Hope Soap, also known as Buy One Give One Soap, is a social enterprise created under Hope Housing, Training & Support Ltd. The project was developed to provide essential hygiene products to vulnerable people experiencing homelessness and hardship within the local community.

The idea behind Hope Soap is simple — for every bar of handmade soap purchased, another bar is donated to someone in need through Hope HTS and local community support services. The project combines sustainability, social enterprise and practical support, helping people access basic hygiene products with dignity and care.

All soaps are handmade using natural, plant-based and ethically sourced ingredients. Products are palm-free, eco-friendly and designed to encourage sustainable living while also supporting vulnerable adults across Bournemouth, Poole and the wider Dorset area.

As a non-profit initiative, all profits generated through Hope Soap go directly back into supporting the work of Hope HTS, helping fund supported housing, counselling, personal development, wellbeing activities and community projects for people rebuilding their lives after homelessness.

Hope Soap is more than just soap — it is about giving back to the community, promoting wellbeing and proving that small acts of kindness can make a real difference, one bar at a time.
