Our huge thanks to Amy Feast who has started an initiative at Zara Bournemouth to collect unwanted good quality clothes for our residents.

Amy, 25, is a ‘changemaker’ for her store, which means she is responsible for implementing sustainable projects, educating the team and finding new ways to reuse and recycle clothing, waste and packaging materials.

She said: “My Dad manages the insurance accounts for Hope, so I was already familiar with it’s great work and wanted to help.

”I have set up a drop-off point in the staff room for the team to donate good-quality clothes from any brand. We will then be donating these items to Hope.

“We hope this will become an ongoing initiative.”

Amy added: “I’m proud to say the team have all been super supportive of the idea and keen to get involved. Some even suggested we donate unopened toiletries and makeup.

“Zara as a company is also very supportive of any initiatives being launched by the staff to help our communities.”

Thanks Amy!

And thank you to Ian and the team at A&T Insurance for your continued support over the years.

If there are any other businesses out there which would like to support us in any way please email: mariam@hopehts.com
