Hope Housing Featured on BBC South Today

We were proud to feature on BBC South Today in a report highlighting the issue of rough sleeping in Bournemouth and the importance of providing long-term support for people experiencing homelessness.

During the feature, our Chief Executive, Julie Berti, spoke about the complex challenges faced by many people who become homeless. While having a safe place to stay is essential, lasting change comes from providing the right support to address the underlying causes of homelessness, including addiction, poor mental health, trauma and social isolation.

The report also gave viewers a glimpse inside Hope Housing, showcasing the work our team carries out every day to help people rebuild their lives. Through supported accommodation, one-to-one support, counselling, health and wellbeing services, education, personal development and recovery programmes, we help residents develop the confidence and skills they need to move towards independent living.
