What is a Community Connector?

Community Connectors are individuals who either work for external organisations, or are part of a community group, club or society.

Community Connectors act as a "link" to the Ara Gambling Service and liaise closely with a nominated Community Engagement Lead.

Community Connectors can offer advice and support on gambling harms to people in their community or place of work.

Community Connectors can refer into Ara's services (with consent) or can signpost to Ara's website for the client to self-refer.

Community Connectors can help raise awareness of gambling harms and our services.
