Welcoming Sue – Our New Counsellor at Hope Housing
We are delighted to welcome Sue to the Hope Housing team as our newest Counsellor, strengthening the support we provide to residents on their journey towards stability, confidence, and independence.
At Hope Housing, we understand that many of the individuals we support have faced significant life challenges, including trauma, homelessness, mental health difficulties, and loss. Sue joins us with a compassionate, person-centred approach and a strong commitment to helping people feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her role will focus on providing one-to-one counselling sessions, offering residents a safe and supportive space to explore their experiences, build resilience, and work towards positive change.
Counselling plays a vital part in our rehabilitation-focused approach, helping residents develop coping strategies, improve emotional wellbeing, and move forward at their own pace. Sue’s calm presence and professional experience will enhance the holistic support already available through our staff team, personal development workshops, and wellbeing activities.
Since joining, Sue has already begun building positive relationships with residents and staff, bringing warmth, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting others. Her addition reflects Hope Housing’s continued commitment to strengthening our counselling service and ensuring that every resident has access to meaningful emotional support throughout their stay.
We are excited to have Sue as part of the Hope Housing family and look forward to the positive impact she will make within our community.
