Re-connect

Re-connect logo This 15-week programme aims to re-connect vulnerable individuals completing rehabilitation treatment with their family and society, enabling them to live a life which is free from drug and crime.

By being non-judgemental, showing respect, empathy, and offering unconditional, positive regard, we can help vulnerable individuals overcome their fears, identify their inner strength and support them on their journey to an independent life away from the cycle of crime and addiction.

Garden Project

Launch date: Friday 30th April

Hope has 1 acre of land which is overgrown and has been out of use for years. Our aim, with the help of volunteers, is to transform this area into a garden, which can be used as a recreational area for recovering addicts, homeless teenagers and individuals who have recently been released from prison.

Visitors from the council, prison service and police will use the garden to assess the progress of individuals. It will also be used for workshops.

The project will tackle anti-social behavior on the streets, by keeping the individuals occupied during the spring and summer days. Fresh air and physical activity is a great way to relieve stress and can have a real positive affect on the mind.

We also hope that the garden project will influence the teenagers to respect the environment.

We want to say a big thank you to all the local garden centers in Bournemouth who have kindly donated materials for this project.

Please sign up to our newsletter to receive updates on the progress of our garden.

Bike Donation

Bike project
We are delighted with the result of our Bike Project. We have received 50 bikes, which will be used as transport and exercise for the individuals we are working with. This will save them money on transportation and also help them to do their bit for the environment.
